Media and Projects

The House of Songs participates in a number of local and international projects, and we cherish the opportunity to share the work of our residents and participants. Below are links to news coverage from some of our major projects. In addition to those projects, our artists and team members record blogs about their experiences and our events, and we showcase their original music. Take a look at some of the photos and videos of our programs, read blog posts to catch up on our latest work and enjoy music from a number of our residents.

Arts in Context - PBS

Born out of a collaboration with Danish artists, Troy Campbell founded The House of Songs in 2009. In 2016, PBS featured us in an episode of their documentary series Arts in Context. The half-hour episode focuses on our programs and the mission of The House. Take a look!

Ice Instruments - Sweden

In 2015, we were honored to participate in a special showcase in Lulea, Sweden, featuring legendary guitarist Charlie Sexton and a lineup of instruments made entirely from ice. Read more in The Wall Street Journal's coverage of the event.
